Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup Sunsweet® Amaz!n Prunes, chopped
  • 1/3 cup ground toasted hazelnuts
  • 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • Pinch salt
  • 1/2 vanilla bean, scraped
  • 2 Tbsp butter, softened (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup, honey or agave nectar (optional)

Instructions

Soak prunes in 1/4 cup water for 30 minutes; puree in food processor.

Add hazelnuts, cocoa, salt and vanilla bean seeds; process until smooth.  Add butter and maple syrup (if using).

Serve immediately or refrigerate in airtight container or jar for up to 1 week.  Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving.
