Date, Blue Cheese and Bacon Crisps

1 sheet puff pastry, thawed but still cold

1/2 cup bacon, cooked and crumbled

1/2 cup blue cheese, crumbled

1/4 cup Sunsweet Pitted dates, sliced

egg wash


Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Roll out puff dough to make a square. Place the dough on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Brush the dough with egg wash. Using a fork, prick the dough all over so that it won’t puff up during baking, then sprinkle the blue cheese evenly over the dough. Add the crumbled bacon next then the sliced dates. Bake for 20 minutes.

Remove from oven, cool for a couple of minutes then place the dough on a cutting board and cut into irregular shapes or squares and serve.
