Sunsweet Fruit Compote

1/2 tsp grated orange rind

1 lemon, quartered

2 cups orange juice

3 tbsp brandy

1/4 tsp whole cloves

1/2 cup Sunsweet Pitted Prunes, halved

1/2 cup Sunsweet Dried Apricots

1/2 cup Sunsweet Jumbo Red Raisins

1/2 cup Sunsweet Premium Dried Cherries

2 cinnamon sticks


Place all ingredients in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 20 minutes. Cool. Discard cloves, cinnamon, and lemon.

Note: Store compote in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Serves 8

Tip: 1/2 cup Sunsweet Dried Cranberries can be substituted for cherries.
