2/3 cup Sunsweet® Amaz!n Prunes, chopped
1/3 cup ground toasted hazelnuts
2 Tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 vanilla bean, scraped
2 Tbsp butter, softened (optional)
1 Tbsp maple syrup, honey or agave nectar (optional)
Soak prunes in 1/4 cup water for 30 minutes; puree in food processor.
Add hazelnuts, cocoa, salt and vanilla bean seeds; process until smooth. Add butter and maple syrup (if using).
Serve immediately or refrigerate in airtight container or jar for up to 1 week. Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving.
